Pitchfork Pickle Burlington, VT

Farmer/Producer Website

Pitchfork Pickle crafts small batch ferments, vinegar brined pickles and hot sauce in Burlington, Vermont, inspired by seasonal availability and with a focus on local produce.

Julia Irish moved to Vermont to farm at Pitchfork Farm. In 2019, she and farm owners Eric Seitz and Rob Rock started Pitchfork Pickle, a project that creates deliciously preserved products sourced primarily from the farm. At the end of 2021, Julia became sole owner and stopped farming to focus on fermentation and brining. Pitchfork Farm continues to supply much pickling produce, and other fantastic local farms also supply vegetables.

Everything is produced in Pitchfork's brick and mortar headquarters at The Soda Plant on Pine Street in Burlington, where you can visit and see them in full pickling action.
